Fiber To The Antenna: (FTTA)
Conventional cellular network architectures with copper-wire links between the base station and the cell-site antenna can no longer support data flow requirement. Modern mobile communication systems now use fiber optics for the link from the base station to the antenna. This architecture will benefit Industry in many ways including reduced load on tower, reduce maintenance cost, higher data handling capability, no theft issue, no distance restriction and no data or power loss.
